It sounds too good to be true. For only $50 plus $15 per month you get a feature-loaded 1GB MP3 player and unlimited song downloads from a library of millions. For once, the deal is good.
I saw Napster's advertisements for a while before I ever clicked on one. "Get a 1GB MP3 player and unlimited songs!" they shouted from the screen. "Yeah right," I thought. "There's a big catch there somewhere."
Then one day, wanting an MP3 player, but not willing to shell out big bucks for one, I clicked on the ad. It seemed that all you had to do was sign up for three months of service at $15 per month and you got a 1GB MP3 player loaded with all the features for only $50. I was still skeptical and didn't sign up right away.
Meanwhile, working out had become a chore, especially when my family members objected to my loud workout music while they were trying to watch tv or read. I really "needed" an MP3 player.
So, I googled up Napster and found an ad. I read the terms carefully and couldn't find any hidden nasty surprises, so I ordered my 1GB MP3 player and started my service. Even before the player arrived (which it did quickly) I was already hooked on the Napster To Go service. I could listen to just about any song I could think of at any time right on my computer. Pretty soon I had downloaded several of my favorite albums, and was listening to songs that I never would have spent the money for if I had to pay a fee for each song.
When the MP3 player arrived, I was impressed. It was a great value! It had tons of features, most of which I never use but like having, and holds a lot of songs. How many songs does it hold? I honestly don't know, because I haven't run out of room yet.
Downloading songs, rearranging the order, managing libraries and albums is all very easy through the Napster To Go download. The functions are very intuitive, and one of my favorite features is that as soon as you connect the MP3 player to your computer, Napster To Go begins downloading the changes you've made to your music library.
I'll admit I was a little nervous about how much I'd need to learn to be able to use the player, and it turned out I didn't have to learn anything. It was easy.
The MP3 player is tough too. I've been working out with it for a while now, and of course had a few little accidents. It's survived them all without a single problem.
If you're looking for an inexpensive MP3 player, loaded with all the features that's easy to use I highly recommend the $50 1GB player paired with Napster To Go.
